You may have heard whispers that the Australian Government is releasing a grant to give Australian citizens a cash incentive to renovate or build. Well you have heard correctly! But of course they are not just giving money away, you will need to meet a number of conditions to have a staggering $25,000 deducted from your renovation, extension or new build construction costs.

What: A $25,000 HomeBulder Grant (Part of the HomeBuilder Stimulus Scheme) issued by the Australian Government.
Why: To stimulate the economy through the construction industry in aims of overcoming COVID-19 repercussions.
Where: Throughout Australia.
Who: A number of criteria must be met in order to claim the $25,000 Grant (Go through the flowchart shown below to see if you may be eligible).
When: A construction contract must be signed with a licenced builder (Psst Like Us) between June 4 2020 and December 31 2020 (Construction must also commence within 3 months of the contract date).
